Ive been watching the forecast too, but didnt want to get too excited given the repeated times we have been skunked on the weekend. As Pilchard said, i hope you havent jinxed it Richard cause a wavesail, let alone any kind of sail would be most welcome.

Relax! We have ensured every Sunday between now and August will be windy simply by organising a wave contest that starts in August :-)

I hope your right

The BOM computer models are crap at 7 days and consistantly fail to deliver even 3 days out.

Watch the Code (a mathemetics documentary not sure which episode) theres a section on computer weather modelling - you'll never believe another 4+ day weather forecast again. Not sure if you can still access it - youll get it on a new Qantas jet flight entertainment as well!!

www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/2195002714/The-Code-Numbers

Seabreeze consistantly drops from a day of green arrows to red over a 7 day period as well.

Yesterday - 15-20 and 20-25 on SCC - 10 knts tops

As the horse trainer on TV recently said - weather forecasting is one of the few jobs where you dont get fired no matter how wrong you get it

But hey its the weather - and its unpredictable.

I'm away this weekend, so Day Street will be going off! Enjoy people...

This winter has been a dodgy one. Days when the forecast look really good and you arrive at Day Street to find a near glass off.

Just thought I would throw it up that on Sunday at Middleton is the kitesurfing state titles.

Hopefully they don't take up all the beach...

Cheers,

Luke.

We usually sail at the end of Chapman road so as long as they stay in their designated comp zone nearer the point there shouldnt be any problems.

If theres wind and waves its gonna be busy

You are obviously very uneducated. Why dont you turn up and kite in the middle of our state titles cause im sure someone will be more than happy to give you an education.

yes, nice rack mrs simpson

no love lost between both forms of wind powered craft up north i see
everyone wants to be on that perfect bank between chapman rd and day st, the rest of the coast just does'nt compare i guess.

i was stoked with my 4.7 being fully powered up on a little chest high, side/side off day at browns
nice to finish a sail due to lack of energy rather than a lack of breeze

enjoy bali grumpy
