If you want sea views talk to Anthea or Bert, their places this year were awesome! Or give Scott Elvish a call, his digs were the best I have seen (Sugar Beach)

Geoff, we stayed in a studio apartment at 590 Stable Road - suggest you look location up on Google Earth. It was comfy, very, very quiet, with some views towards Kanaha Beach and 40m walk to private beach. See 'Camp One' web cam. I was able to negotiate a cheaper price with the owner. The 'Tiki Suite' - www.vrbo.com/search

Sorry Geoff, when I said 'very, very quiet', that was between the planes taking off. They are loud, but we only noticed them for the first couple of days.

I was wondering if you were forgetting the 'end of the runway' factor

yep that will sum up the hawaii'n experience, v v nice and you will need many a coin. something even "up country" as they say is nice, as the nights are cooler for honeymooning activities

Kuau plaza the 3 storey building near Mama's fish shack and 1km from hookipa is a good cheap option for around $70 US a night depending for how long u stay.

Can give you email addresses if needed of several individual owners or kens who is property manager. Yes some of nights we heard road noise, but that was nothing compared to staying at sprecks and listening to jets until 11pm
