Hi Seabreezers , heard a whisper about this 6 months ago , and now the cat is out the bag on training diaries pozo 4 .... whats the deal with this glued / stitchless sail ? , any ideas if going into production ? , weights etc ? .... could be amazing not having any soggy seams taking up water , aparantly has carbon in it ??? ... any inside knowledge out there .... ?

A friend in Germany mentioned the DuoTone membrane sails go the AU$ equivalent of about AU$1,700 to AU$ 2,050. Sizes for the Hero membrane apparently are 4.2 to 5.7 . No word on weight. I am guessing prices here will be similar.

I think Jaeger Stone has one of the S1s in similar material but he's been on very small sail sizes so far, so has only been seen on standard S1s.
A recent windsurfing.tv video (Pozo training diaries) did show one of Jaeger's larger S1s in this new material, with welded/stichless seams.


I understand that Severne are launching some of the new products this week, at a Pozo evening event.
Those products should include the new sails, plus the new Nano II wave board. You can see pictures of that new board on the PWA site, amongst the Pozo action shots, because Baptiste Cloarec and Mauritz Mauch are both on one.

The Severne 2020 gear has gone online on their website now, as of today.
But the S1 pro is still under wraps as that's not being launched until later this year.

You can however see the other wave sails, including the Pro Blade.
Plus the new Nano is up online, with the new sizes allowing for an 87 litre version in the line up.
