I tried 15cm fronts with a 12.5cm rear and it's a no go in sailing mode. Basically this design needs the fin area as far back as possible to function as a windSUP. But the difference does make me realize I've been riding with a rear fin too upright.
I did have a day with near onshore conditions where the wind quality was not great and the waves weak enough I'm unsure my FSW would have worked, perhaps waist to shoulder high with a short period (4-6s). I've attached a picture for reference and also because a sunny day for us in January is worth noting.
This represents my typical summer conditions which brings a lot of hope for fun days ahead. Unfortunately the board took some damage that I wouldn't expect from the conditions. Looks like mast met rail although I can't recall when that could have happened. Best bet is the flat wide deck has something to do with it.
This is perhaps where the Breeze being much narrower and domed would be a lot more durable? Possibly a factor when designing a board like this.
