anyone sailing woody point/pelican park tomorrow morning. looking like it might be ok and not as far to walk back at low tide compared to that spot south of the river.
(also i don't think my cv joints will last two trips over the gateway)

Thought about it as it looked awesome today, I think the world waterski titles are being held there this weekend, could make windsurfing quite difficult!

yeah they are, just checked council website, supposedly from pelican park starting tomorrow finishing next sat. that sucks. surely they won't come in too close especially at low tide in the arvo. can't find anything about area restrictions for watercraft etc. maybe it will be a free for all. might just head on down to the yacht club for a look and might even get on tv

plenty of wind a few sailors and not a ski race in sight. they had the course set out, a couple of largish spectator boats (they didn't stay long) and the coastguard boat running around, saw a couple of ski boats go out minus skiiers. Too windy for them

Nice to confirm somewhere on the northside really works in a wsw etc, you guys were flying
