Was wondering the same thing, spoke to a friend and said the tide is rising and wind not that good??? Dno, what to do.... :(
I have not been to the train for well over a year. Time I returned.
Best spot me thinks with incoming tide. Looks like it is filling in for the day, 15knots+ SE.
On my way...
The train was ok for a mid winter play, sun was shining water was clear, but the boats, the place is silting up with boats.
Couple of deperados at the Grand Brad had a few runs looked like very big gear and could see some sails going back and forth at Shearwater. Looks possible for Tuesday?
the train was fun but those boats sitting in the channel fishing are so annoying i got a fish hook stuck in my board and the guy was swearing at me grrr[}:)]
I couldn't even find a park at the train. Grand would have been grand if I'd rigged a 7.2 instead of a 5.9. Always windier in the carpark. Still, was a beautiful day.
just park at kfc and work your way up, which is what most of the train regulars appear do lately (shocked actually
)
the direction was pretty good for the train considering its winter
