hey my fellow windsurfers, looks like im flipping the coin, jumping the fence whatever matephor works best, my kite and board has a deposit layed down on it, no more sitting on the beach on 12 knot days, time to join the masses having fun and begin........ thats right, kite time is here.

Had my second lesson, got the feel for everything to a degree, got tossed around like an absolute beginer I will now be.

Next few months shaould be a challenge!

Its been a hoot sailing with you all, will still see you on the water.

choco the problem is mate, 12 knots doesnt cut it for me, I like sailing with some oomph, and the goldy has a habit of blowing no more than 15 knots all summer. Trust me, if it was 20kn everyday, I would not even consider kiting, I am now time poor, and thus cant wait for the wind to hit, so therefore kiting will get me in for the arvo seabreeze after work, a few times a week at least.

HC, you know Im an unco anyways!

Not sure what type of sailing you do but if you use a big sail on slalom gear it's fun,one positive from this when your out kiting at least you've got some idea and give a wide berth to the sailboarders.

Great MD, I bet you've gone and bought a nice new harness with one of those handles on the back. Very intimate!

Yes Eggheads right, there's one from Caption Comp 108 that would be suitable.

PS - Eggs & MD, don't take my sarcastic banter too seriously.

If you want to learn to kite, then the goldy is the right place for it...

WA sucks for learning, we get so many 20 knot days!
