Yeah, that southport seaway the other day probably looked like the usual conditions at the harbour mouth up here. They probably turned back because there wasn't enough wind to raise the sails. 61knots......pffft....that's just not enough to get planing.

in my experience the people with schedules are the ones that become unstuck. ie back to work on said date must leave now to get there on time. People sometimes die doing this ......

There's nothing glorious about this - had this boat capsized the coast guard would have been forced to risk their own lives to save this idiots. Less like big balls and more like NFI.

Sadly being forced to live in Yeppoon due to work I can re-inforce that Yeppoon locals are d*%ks who drink to much and fight to much and are generally not very bright.

On a side note, anybody want to buy kite gear as I'm looking at getting back into windsurfing?

Actually I feel for anyone who is young and single living here, but it's a great place for families. Good to hear you've come to your senses regarding giving up kiteboarding for windsurfing.

you should buy that guys kite gear! by now the sad realisation that your no good at sailboarding should be kicking in. Ohh thats right its called self delusion!

ps some of those National party silver backs are still beratting that crap design you did out at Barcy!

Hey Bart,
Everyone knows kiting is for sissys. That's why I've I bought it...............for your birthday.

Also as I told one of those silverbacks, I would have been very surprised if he actually understood such an abstract idea and thanked him for validating our theory on architecture and the lowest common denominator - I think I confused him.

PS - don't forget what time your galah dinner starts tomorrow night - you don't want to be late and miss the lime green boardshort jokes.
