going to Lake Cootharaba this weekend it's my first time and the wind is looking epic are any other people going.
With a good southerly forecast you couldn't get any better for flatwater sailing, if you are already at Lake C, why look further afield??
Im going to be up there for sure (SC), may try and make it to the lake on sunday for a early session, where is the best place to launch from in a SE???
I'll be on either a 6.1 or a 5.4, both NP's.
But I probably wont be up at the lake.... will be further down the coast....
The best place to launch for a SE'r would probably be from just out the front of the sailing club or a little further around at a grassy triangle.... good place to rig up... thats where most the windsurfers will launch from.... boreen point camp ground will be ok but you will need to walk out a little further.
nope no cams.... I'm not a cam user at all.... back in the day I was but not now
If the wind is about 20ish I might be out on my 6.1 but more likely my 5.4
I weigh low 90's so not the smallest guy out on the water...... my only board is 91ltrs so need either some strong wind or a big sail
id be heading to currumbin on that weekend's forecast... or neill street as that loser mucksy recons.
he must be a big loser. the biggest kind.
isn't he going to gnarloo in a few weeks... who would go there? what a loser.
Dont ya hate when younger brothers just step in and spoil the positive vibe.... ![]()

It was ****e! Was there anything at lake cootharaba?
Heading down to GB in an hour or so, if its no good i will head to red for a sail, looking out my window now, cant say its looking inspiring. Would take the trip upto the lake, any wind graphs for that area???
i spoke with peter from up at caloundra today, he said saturday was excellent.
they were picking up waves on the reef and riding all the way into the shore at neil st.
