With a good southerly forecast you couldn't get any better for flatwater sailing, if you are already at Lake C, why look further afield??

I'll be on either a 6.1 or a 5.4, both NP's.

But I probably wont be up at the lake.... will be further down the coast....

The best place to launch for a SE'r would probably be from just out the front of the sailing club or a little further around at a grassy triangle.... good place to rig up... thats where most the windsurfers will launch from.... boreen point camp ground will be ok but you will need to walk out a little further.

nope no cams.... I'm not a cam user at all.... back in the day I was but not now

If the wind is about 20ish I might be out on my 6.1 but more likely my 5.4

I weigh low 90's so not the smallest guy out on the water...... my only board is 91ltrs so need either some strong wind or a big sail

This is what's wrong with the youth of today.

If Neil Pryde started making MK IV's again, I'd buy 5 of them and use them until the day I died.

Cams 4 Lyfe Man!

Yeah but I arrived around 12:30 when the wind dropped out and everyone came in, derigged and went home! When I arrived it was blowing, everybody was out, it looked awesome!.... I even spoke to a guy before choosing what sail to rigg and he was omn a 5.3 and he was saying he was fully powered up!

Anyway rigged a 5.4, and by the time I got down to the water, the wind had disappeared and all but 1 guy had come in.... Waited around about an hour and a half and then decided to derigg by 3pm.....

Was disappointing......... ah well WA in a few weeks...
