it's still pretty windy down here on the gc, so you should have wind for a few more hours up there i'd guess?

Great vid, looks a good spot.
Looks shallow, is it? Was this taken at high tide?
Thinking of a day trip sometime.
Cheers

Hi Greg. Most of the footage is in waist to chest deep water. Sandy bottom if you come off. That was mid-high tide... In coming tide. Not worth going there less than mid tide (long walk) and less than 20kts... As you may as well sail anywhere else in the bay. In a S-SE you can sail for many km's on each tack. Safe sailing even if you are out on your own. Bit of a drive but certainly worth it in the right conditions. Cheers

Nice vid shame you didn't get a bit more footage of when the waves got bigger and the wind got stronger. One of those times when your having to much fun to stuff around rather than sailing hey. I do the same when using the helmet cam on my motorbike. When the riding is at it's best the last thing you want to do is stuff around instead of doing what your there for.
Looking very forward to the next time that the conditions are similar on a Saturday when your back in town.

From memory 4.2 NP Fly2 (2011)... although could have also been a 4.8 Fly2. They both go on a X6 370 mast.... Long time no see

Noice... You'll love it. With a 370 mast you might be able to start attemping double forwards too!
