Spent from Thursday to Saturday on south straddie. I sailed my raceboard over from Runnaway bay on Thursday lunchtime. Wind was from the SE at 20 - 25 knots with gusts to 30. I rigged my smallest sail (7.0 m2 KA speed). Hard work but an unbelievable experience - in the back footstraps, planning on the last 300mm of the board. Great sailing also on Friday and Saturday with my new 9.5 m2 race sail. This was my first time on the Broadwater. It makes a nice change from muddy Morton Bay.
