took the boys down for a look at 12 ish a couple were packing up, wind was very gusty and easterly a couple of others arrived when i left. got home 15 mins ago and it has started bucketing down with thunder and lightning, still debating whether to head back with gear or to stay dry. if storms leave might try for a surf at suttons when the tide drops a bit, plenty of rubbish still in the water.
rain still sideways still thunder and lightning![]()
Didn`t notice any thunder and lightening at Manly; just as well cause there would have been 20 or more very drenched sailors struggling to hold onto our gear in the big squalls.
Tiring but lots of fun.![]()
Hope you get a sail in the next few days Lungs; just dodge the debri.![]()
We`re off to the Sunshine coast tomorrow rain hail or shine as long as there`s wind I`ll give it a go.![]()
Hey Lungs, I gave it a miss today, the thunder and lightening did'nt really fire me up, maybe tomorrow ?
the only wind i got was when a gust pushed the garage door down onto me as i was putting away the car.
might be down late tommorrow arvo, hope you all left some of the big swell there.![]()
i can't believe the wind up your way, it was pumping once more at VP. was switching between SSE and ESE a bit but at one point we all got blown off the water on 5.8m sails
There was plenty of wind Gesty. Settled down to SE 5.X weather after the storms went though. Some of the largest waves we have ever seen out there too.
hey Haggar, i didn't like what i saw, how about you, windows are now rattling here a shame it wasn't a few hours earlier![]()
