Unless you get a solid 15 i wouldnt bother, better off on the southside, flatter water etc , mind you switch you weight less than a bag of sugar so you could be ok.

Don't worry about jellies. If you going fast enough you cut right through them. Don't even feel it. They sting, but it's not that bad.

I saw a docco on jelly fish in japan recently, they were creating havoc for local fishermen, for some reason they were expoding in number and size, up to a meter accross
imagine trying to sail through them, might need to stick razor blades to leading edge of fins.

@ikw nice stiff breeze comming accross back deck unfortunately mr mom activities will prevent any chance of getting aquainted with it

No jellies at queens today, out for a couple of hours, didn't see any, none on the beach either
