Hey anyone sailed the mouth in recent years?. I used to sail it back in the early ninetys and was great in a northerly with outgoing tide. I do know there have been some changes to the set up,banks(stairs to nowhere!),any recent info would be great!
I too used to sail there many years ago but havent been back for many years! Would also be keen to know what the sailing is like there now....
In the early 80's whilst I was learning, I spent weeks getting it together at the river mouth. If you find a rig buried under the sand bars there, its mine, I broke my 1st of many masts and lost my 1st rig on a out going tide with 6ft sets. I have many fond memories of the place.
