was wondering myself. Maybe a little unidentifed front came through as the high moved over.

Did you get out? I would have come down but got stuck at work. Crossed fingers for the long weekend without much hope.

lol, yeah it's a ricoh.

it's being copied for a cnc mill. the machine uses lasers to copy the object.
(or that's what i thought)

i wanted to watch the process but the stars wouldn't align.

i'll hopefully get the digital file so i can begin work on a 100lt version but the main reason is so production boards can be made from my proto.

Don't forget to take off 3 or 4 mm all over this time, unless you're shooting for a voodoo formula. Then what are you going to do with that pissy little fin.

Who's doing the milling?

yes, that was an oversight but in the end i'm glad it ended up 10mm bigger all round...... for my weight it was worth it.

i'm not sure who the guy doing the milling is. it's the same guy that is laser scanning it. someone of the sunny coast. he will cnc the blanks. pete will still finish and vac bag them by hand as per all production boards. he also has some new slalom shapes that were developed over a year or so of protos that are getting excellent comments. the latest is a 140lt 6kg beast. (or omething like that)

so i'm thinking

100lt, 238x63 with 41 at ofo but am yet to draw it up and see what the shape looks like. length and width i'm good with but i need to see what the tail outline looks like before making a call. it will also be a single/thruster convertible like my current board. same rocker as current board and same rail shape, but with a little more nose rocker and maybe a little harder rail in the tail. still talking with pete about ideal tail rocker/V
