thats why i usually go to manly. good luck getting parking at wello on a non-weekday anytime after 10am . Does the construction there have anything to do with putting more carparks in?

I have been meaning to try launching at lota, does anyone sail from there? I thought i saw a few windsurfers and kiters there today.

oh and did anyone see the random branches floating around? seems to be more debris in the water lately then i remember seeing in the past.

Yer well rock wall at Manlys not much better.
I know a few guys that launch at lota doesnt look to bad.
Yer going to b interesting at wello with all that construction going on.
No more parking unfortunately dumb arse council just keep putting in more and more facility's bbq ect but no more parking. one good thing though if it a strong westerly that normally keeps people away

hey where do you actually launch? i've never actually gone to check it out cause i thought there might be a bit of a wind shadow there close to shore.

From manly head towards lota along the foreshore, there's a left turn before you get to lota turn in there that takes you to the end where there a beach.

bit shallow there at low tide. Popular with kiters.

Its a pretty good spot at high tide cause when you walk into the water it goes to like chest deep straight away. This means you can pretty much gybe a few feet from the shore in a south-easter which is pretty cool.
