I had a look today

. Whilst sources within Unity Water would have us believe the sewer pumping station next to this abomination doesn't discharge raw sewerage to the passage anymore, I am not convinced. Can't wait until it does discharge into this thing and the stink it will create! If this is the type of thing Council are spending our rates on ($150K apparently) what the hell is it going to be like when they start developing the Maroochy Town Centre!!!! God help the Sunshine Coast rate payers!
Where is the Sunshine Coast Environment Council on this one? If it were a private developer, wow!
Here is another one, I witnessed a Council roads worker using a blower to get gravel out of a road box instead of a shovel this very morning, GENIUS! $50 for a shovel vs $500 for a blower and I might add it wasn't doing much of a job, poor bastard was on his knees so he could get a half decent angle to force the gravel out of the hole. Can't wait for the next rate hike!
