Cyclone off Yeppoon I gather. Burrum would absolutley crank if that was to eventuate although forecasting that far in advance can't be too accurate, can it ????

yeah it is off yeppoon, i was getting more excited about my home spot. but looking closer you're right burrum would be pumping.....

it's a long way off as you say, i feel pretty confident that a low will spin up around the 10th in far far north qld as most models are suggesting that. but after that who knows.

gfs which is the image, has been suggesting a cyclone to hit the sunny coast since january, every week or so it progs that happening. this one it's saying is the low most models are suggesting from far north qld heading down to noosa and then going back north again along the coast.

personally, unless the ec models suggests it, (which it isn't), then it's most likely not going to happen.

but we are only 3 cyclones down from 6 so anything could happen.

here is another potential wind generator way out. this one looks good. this image should update so it can be tracked here. at this early stage it's the blob out to the right at 170w, 20s
