there is a low predicted to form out from brissy around the tuesday. question is whether it will come close or not i guess.
i think seabreeze graphs will be green again by then.
i hope.
i've got some work to do so was just going to hit vp for an hour. were you thinking somewhere special? i need to hook up and retrieve my lonely blue beast.![]()
cal bar i was thinking during the week.
any ideas?
If this weather holds and the pattern stays east sou east and blows 25knt Sunday... I'm off to Moffat headland
As for tomorrow might see you at VP
Sorry can't carry the board as I don't have my wagon at present.. wife away camping with it
cheers
no worries with the board, i'm keen to do the travel to pick up. keen to pick up prior to the distance increase.
i've not sailed moffats, do you launch from the main carpark and surf the reef to the right? looks perfect for ESE.
sundays out for the big drive though. have a couple of projects due on monday say can only fit in a short journey for sailing.
mid-late week will be different though
Getting to Moffats
Launch at Neil Street and tack up to it... it is great in strong wind, just must stay out of the shadow of the headland when DTL riding and not come to far in.
What time are you off to VP...much wind down there

ok, yeah i was thinking you might launch from moffets proper. looks like a E-ESE wind would be xshore launch. is there a wind shadow?
VP has some wind now. will head down soon. i'll get a weather report from another local and post but currently there's white caps out the window. looks like about 15 knots.
cannot get in touch with 2nd opinion.......... about to head down, wind appears a little up and down. will be on 6.4m at this stage.
