Anyone know what size fins they should have? a friend got almost full kit from roadside pickup just needs fins.
Would not really make much difference- just anything of any size to give the back end a bit of stability- they originally had a really funny looking semi-circular thing- was about 12 inches deep- but swept really far back.
I used to run mine with 26-30cm main fin, with about 12cm fins for the thrusters.
Modern fins are a lot better and you may be able to get away with smaller thruster fins.
In fact I ditched the thruster fins with no loss in performance when moving from the old plastic fins to G10 glass fins

Should also mention that sail size will have a lot to do with with. Back then - the biggest sail i used was a 5.5 (and that was considered large)
