Does anyone know if the two guys out in the bay this afternoon got home safely, I was watching them off wynnum at 400pm getting further away, they were pumping their sails for a long time heading towards the port. There wasn't a puff of wind. Then about 430 they turned back towards manly and caught a bit of wind. But it didn't last long because they were pumping their sails again. About five o'clock I went to the coast guard to let someone know they might not make it back. The coast guard told me that if the windsurfers needed help they would probably wave someone down. This wasn't the response I was expecting. I hope they got back safely.

I saw the two RSX (I think) sailors get back in okay before sunset. They're usually fine as they can pump those things along in zero knots if they need to. Dont worry they're expert olympic class sailors.

Yeah It was Jo training with her dad Dave before heading off to Europe again in afew weeks!

It would be Dave you would need to worry about - but he got back safely as well!
