Dieter and the team will have available freestyle, freestyle wave, wave, slalom and freeride gear as well as rigs for everyone to spend the day.
Dieter has also said those that are wanting to demo any wave gear are welcome to take gear around to the bar, neil street or their favourite wave spot.
as well as getting to demo/test all the gear the sunshine coast sailboards crew wil also be throwing a bbq to keep everyones energy levels up.
for those that cannot make it on sunday the demo day is also on the saturday, why not even go both days. ![]()

it's a strange one today,
but, the graphs are showing wind up the sunny coast.
am about to hit the road so will see everyone on the beach.![]()
Had a pretty good session on saturday good wind but one hell of a fast run out tide, got there at 8am sailed until 4 ish. Tried all the new JP stuff and NP sails. Its pretty windy up here in Maleny and normally being a SE it will be in Caloundra, Monday's looking epic and as dont currently have a job i shall be making the most of it! enjoy today
Yeah it was a pretty good day yesterday. Its great to see all the gear out there for demo cause especially around here you never get the chance to try before you buy.
The tide was pretty tricky, some totally random chop around. I didn't have any problems staying upwind on my gear, but seemed to be a lot of people walking upwind and struggling to plane which I found weird as I was only on my 5.3.
sounds like the Neil Pryde trailer and all its goodies will be at Queens beach north next. 24th October if I heard right
i'd definitley try and catch up with the trailer.
what a fantastic sight!!! thanks to dieter and the sunshine coast team for braving it in the pouring rain today, helping with the gear and cooking up a feast!
we scored today.
41 knots on the wind gauge, it was pumping.
i went out on a 4.7 combat and a 93lt thruster. sweet ride. was over cooked on the 4.7 and should have been out on a 3.7 combat. the thruster wave felt great also. very slashy and skatey yet tracked solidly when you let it find it's path. really enjoyed it!
think i might head to a few more trailer days. there is so much ear to choose from nd it's all rigged and ready to go.
dieter has the trailer for the rest of the week so if you want to try any gear just give him a call.
as the guys have alluded to the trailer is making it's way down the east coast over the following months.
