Seems like there's going to be a bit from that direction until Sunday. Are there any spots sailable in a NW?

North kirra apparently is the pick and gets the most wind from that direction.

either north kirra or wello,

both just as good as each other depending on whether you want surf or bump and jump.

personally i'd drive a long way to sail either in a NW.

Ian, myself and Kerry have sailed at Scarborough around at the end of Newport Drive, it will be a B&J spot. It is very shallow at low tide. I think Cotton Tree at Maroochydore would be viable for flat water but hav'nt tried myself in a NW. I think the forecast is still very uncertain.

Thanks Glenn. Yeah it's still early days for the forecast and I wouldn't be surprised it it swings northery in the afternoon, which would be great.

I'll be up at caloundra anyway picking up a new board (Exocet Scross -yay!) so am hoping to find something up there. Nothing wrong with coming back to Scarborough though.
