I am nearing the end of my first year of windsurfing and I have noticed the wind seems to be dropping off over the next week or so. Is this normal for this time of year and if so when does the wind start coming back ?

PS. I started last easter during the winter westerlies (bbbrrrrr) so I don't care what direction the wind is coming from or how cold it is (well I didn't last year?)

Once the autumn pattern of SE's derived from Tasman highs establishes, there is always lighter NE wind in between each SE buster.
Some say that the lighter the NE, the stronger the SE.
All I know is, that the wind will blow when it will blow. This year had great potential for more wind though. There have a been a few good SE blows, but last one was a couple of weeks ago now, and the next is overdue.
I was planning on hitting Burrum if the forecast was good, but that's not looking likely at this point.
