Moreton Bay Waters:
Friday until midnight: E/NE winds 10/15 knots. Seas 0.7 metres. Showers.
Saturday: SE/E winds 15/20 knots. Seas 0.9 metres. Isolated showers.
Sunday: SE/E winds 15/20 knots.

What's the likelihood of this being sailable somewhere?

You could try Shearwater Ave. on northern Gold Coast. Big outgoing tide will add about 4 knots to a SE...

... but forecast wind is even weaker down south.

I bet you I try though, 7.2m + 40cm. There is a strange satisfaction out of seeing kiters stuck on the beach while you are planing away.

I've noticed a bit of this lately. Sometimes a handful of windsurfers out sailing on 6s and 7s with all the kiters sitting on the beach like they were waiting for something.

Seems like a reversal of how it used to be. Maybe kiters are becoming bigger wind snobs than windsurfers!
