sounds like fun

when consider how quick u can get from oatlands to crab island, it would probably only takes 5 minutes to go from one end to the other on a windsurfer in decent wind

yeah, we could possibly meet at the destination and car pool with a load of gear to our start. And of coarse if we get our partners involved it gets a lot easier.
I ordered my teleporter a while ago, must have got lost in the post.

In.

SE and high tide from Train > Ephraim, on a Saturday would be good.

There aren't any major wind shadows that I can think of with that direction. NE might be a bit tricky around Wave Break Island? Saturday because the broadwater looks like Hong Kong harbour on a Sunday.

Logistics: I can fit two boards, two booms, three masts, four sails and 2.5 people in a coupe, so surely we can figure this out? Maybe ...hmm ...there is a bit of shuffling.

Anyway I'll be in next SE and high tide (like right now).

I know Gestalt has been wanting to do this for a while with windwanders.

I'm keen, but I'll be away from 29/1 until 17/2.
I can fit 4 bodies and all their gear in my van.

ENE and ESE only come in one flavour: 10 knots.

It's a good angle for a broad reach all the way down the Broadwater, I've considered getting some super light wind gear for just this. I can wave to all the kites on the beach as I go.

So logisticly, as EP says "a bit of shuffling" but I'm sure we can work it out.
Here's a suggestion. Do we meet at our destination, load as many vehicles as we need to, leaving some vehicles there of coarse, travel to our start point, sail to destination then pick up vehicles from start point. beers. happy days.
There's high tides sat and sun at 1pm and 2pm respectivly, although they're not very "high" high tides. Let it blow!
