Thumbs Up

Great Sunday afternoon conditions at Lake Weyba today, with 15-20 knots South easterly; much fun indeed . Thanks to Chris and everybody for the company.

I can't understand why it's not a more popular windsurfing venue although the kite surfers have found it. Thankfully they keep to the shallow sandy edge, out of the way.

Weyba works well in a SE'ly although the surface chop that builds makes it bumpy at times. Great long runs, ideal to familiarise myself with my new Starboard Go 131 litre (thanks Dieter) together with my Tushingham 7.4m race sail that I picked up 2nd hand from Al Green a couple of years back.

Amazing how you learn something everytime you go out; today it was avoiding coming upwind and holding the line when stalling during a lull, while keeping feet in the straps>>> ready for the next gust to take off again.

Hope everyone else had happy Sundays, and look at the green arrows forecast for the rest of the week.....
