The sand bank has been flattened & full of rubbish with more sand on the eastern side not to good for the westerlies this year maybe.
Out the front is ok but heaps of weed washed up & more sand out the shallow banks where we usually sail.

Is this pic the SE side? and a sandbar right in the middle! Was it about half tide?

i wonder if the sand came from the point.

will be interesting to see if that gives some flatter water in a SE wind.

I think that speed of the 47 knots might stand for awhile seeing the speed bank is now gone.

Vando said he saw the council with bobcats out on the beach cleaning it up yesterday hope they scrapped up all the rocks up on the beach & re-shaped our sandbank.

he may have been halucinating from all of the drugs the doc put him on.

i think the biggest hurdle will be getting another 50knot session. that was a very special day with a very unique weather pattern.

that said, burrum is more than capable of getting 47knot on the board. just needs people on the water and another cyclone buzzing the coast.
