Wello went off today, Justin H measured 36 knots on his wind meter in one of the gusts. Felt weird to be sailing a fairly consistent Westerly at this time of year and not be freezing your goolies off.
There were heaps of sailors out and it was great to watch Haircut pulling off some ultra high forwards with just the tip of his sail glancing the water as he went over. The speed sailors also had a good crowd and watching them peel down the sandbank at those nasty speeds was just awesome.
