Was out today teaching my fianc??e and what do I see but I nice little pale shark in about 1 metre of water skimming along the bottom. He/she was only a small one at about 1.2 metres but had quite a wide head... Def not a reef shark. It was low tide and it was heading towards some kids so gave them a warning even though I'm sure nothing would ever have happened. They didn't look like they believed me but got out of the water quick smart anyway lol

Only about 20 metres from the shoreline

I see swimmers that swim out to King Island at Wello they come back right out the middle away from the sandbank they really worry me but no one has been touched so there not man eaters. One of the Windsurfer does the swim most mornings he is a bit worried but still does it.

The swimmers ought to just wait till I get there. I crash so much I'm pretty sure I've scared most of the fish to the Barrier reef..

Some more incentive to get my water starts going a bit faster.
More chance of a Jellie fish sting than a shark nibbling on your feet.
I got a real dose of them on my arms 4 weeks ago and the itch is still driving me mad.
