I am heading up to BB in sept for a couple of weeks.
Travelling from Tassy so unable to take my gear.
Anyone in Byron rent decent wavesailing gear & what chance of suitable conditions at that time of year?

I reckon you better buy 2nd hand. To my knowledge there is no BB windsurf rental. Good luck!

Byron Bay in September you should start to see the odd nor-easter between south- south westerly fronts. Usually a bit of swell around too.

Expect water temps around 19-21 deg. So bath warm compared to Tassie!

It's a very pretty part of the NSW north coast- though a little trendy in Byron itself. There's plenty of unspoilt places between Ballina and Brunswick Heads to explore. Have fun.
