Excellent 1.5 hr yesterday in the bay...had to slog a long way for wind line but a good few k's of fresh to gusty 15-25knts open water flying heading over to the Nth Shore...it's a great spot in a 'strong' W direction.

*Normal disclaimer.....not suitable for beginners , and need to have a floaty board and be a strong swimmer!

Just got the phone the mooloolaba coast guard and they said your annual membership is due for renewal...

I was out earlier in the day with a bit more security. Watching the gust sheets coming across the water are similiar to the lake.

Scenery wise it is a worthwhile place to try sail in those conditions.

And another one under the belt!
Big dredge off shore to get to the wind , patchier than normal but worth well worth the battle, nice refresher sunset sail!
I'm sure I don't sail anywhere near as straight as this line suggests!

*normal disclaimer...awesome in these westerly winds , could be a dodgy spot if your not on your game...not for newbies!
