Memberships in Queensland clubs has reached 102 which puts us in good stead with the Southern States. We are still a little down on last year where we had 117 members for the year but it shows the division of the clubs was a good move and the feedback has all been very positive this year.

Congratulations to all of the new clubs for such a successful transition and please remember to get signed up if you are on the line so that the people behind the clubs will be there for you and your sport next year.

PS: I tried to upload the PDF file of all of the members and sail numbers but PDF isn't recognised. The breakdown is as follows:-

Bayside - 75 members
SEQ Wavesailors - 15 members
WindWanderers - 9 members
Lake Cotharabah Sailing Club - 2 members

NSW and WA are tied at 192 members
Victoria has 149
Qld has 102
Tasmania has 14
And SA has 6 members

It is great to see all of the sails out at all of the various events being held around the state. Lets hope we have plenty of wind to see out the seson.

Hidden members, great news. How many do you have? 15 and we will beat last years record (BSC just sent another one).

In the future just send them through as you get them. It takes a bit to input the data so I just wait until I have at least 5 new memberships to process and then send that off to the AWA.

Hey scot,

What are our numbers now?

Can you make sure that the new ones from BSC are all set before the states.

Cheers
D

Hi Dam, They are at work. I will post an update tomorrow. All of the memberships that have been given to me have been forwarded to the AWA and John has them all on the AWA site.

The updated figures were as follows, not forgetting there will be sopme more with some planned events happening late in the season.

Bayside - 77 members
WindWanderers - 18 members
SEQ Wavesailors - 15 members
Lake Cotharabah Sailing Club - 2 members

Total 112, just shy of last years 117.
