Yesterday was bloody wild, full credit to you boys (Tom,Adam, Matt & Sausage) who spent more time than me out there, thats the last time i ever go to Yeppoon without all my sails. trying to hold a 5.6 in what seemed 30knots + was bloody hard.

Anyone go out today???? i am on nightshift so might go down for an afternoon sail if it keeps up!

PS - Sausage , how was the sail back home???

Yup! Was to much for me.

I'd like to know how sausage went. I saw him wipeout off Wreck Point. I reckon he either broke the 30kts or broke himself.

I was hoping no-one saw that That was some of the wildest seas I've sailed in for a very long time. In fact I would hazard to say it was rougher than when Cyclone Hamish came through (although a NE seems to rough the ocean up more than a SE) Anyway, I had a big get off just off wreck point and then only 5mins later coming into the beach full pelt my tail slid out and the leeward rail dug in hard and over the front I went at great speed. Slammed my arm and shoulder into boom - winded me like crazy and have a very sore right side and bruised upper arm. Still went for a quick sail this afternoon to loosen some of the soreness out.

Moz, was that you out this arvo - was going to come over to main beach but decided against it as it was getting late & thought wind might peter out (which it did on dark)
