It's hot...theres a 15 knot SE breeze....theres not that much crap floating in the brown water BUT, what of the infections and diseases that lurk in the murk ?

It was crapollahouse. Heaps of crap in the water, weed , sticks , plant bits,rubbish etc. Every few metres and island of weed and flotsom.
.Gave up after 30 minutes. Water quality is a bit better thou.
