20 knots se forecast with a dropping tide till 4 pm low, would viccy point be the best place to sail in the bay tomorrow ? Of so should be on the water by 1 if Amy others looking to come along, been ages since I've sailed the speed strip is se the best wind direction ? If not wear else would be a good spot if the rain dosn't ruin the wind ?

I haven't sailed Vicy Point before. Where do you rig and launch?

Thanks for the directions. Had a great sail out front until after 1. After some lunch, Nerdburger and I headed over to the speed bank. I didn't make it. i got catapulted onto my boom and then blew out my sail and limped back. Next time!

You had a beaut stack just before I went in, that was me who asked if you were ok.
If you had another you must've felt worse for wear.
Cheers

The stacks are OK as long as you just hit water. Thanks for keeing an eye out. However, In the last one I fell on the boom with my left kidney. Luckily it looks like just some heavy bruising.

Had a great sail at viccy point, still dialling in my new gear, riding a 7 m camed sail and salom board, a lot different to wave gear and small sails, I felt like I was learning all over again. Had about 30 min of 15 to 20 knots se at the strip, was super fun, could of stayed out all arvo, but had to get home. I don't think I've never been as fast as that before, quads are fun in the surf but salom board with a big fin, sail and a speed strip, super fun !
