Vando,
for the rest of us mere mortals, talk us through it! I also noticed you sailed around 126km yesterday, is that right?
thanks blackattack it was a good day
.
the hardest part was dodging all the strings out there got crazy at times.
those guys are just so slowwwwwwww it not funny
.
Pulling up at the end was interesting at times especially as the tide was going out.
haha adds to the excitment.
cheers Vando
fantastic shots! I see what you mean about the lines, that last shot looks like you are just ducking underneath. (pretty sure you are actually 100m in front however!)
Mate, going fast!
What board are you on? Still the starboard speed from last year or have you got the new ones?
Haircut really is an artist with pictures!
He makes jumps looks high (easy) but he can even make Vando look fast ?!? (Now how difficult must that be?!) ![]()
I wonder who tricked that GPS or maybe Vando hit 42 knots going over the handlebars at the end of the run. Or maybe he was really that fast ... I guess Pierre will have to practice a bit now or go to Vando school ... [}:)]
Just an idea: If you could trick these GPS, all wannabe wave sailors could wear a GPS recording height and we have an online smack fest! www.gps-crashsurfing.com Only height is important, style and landing is irrelevant! ![]()
Wim
Sweeet mate. I'm back now; arrived day before yesterday.
I brought some new Tabou's with me 130L and 98L but all my sails are still stuck in a freight depot in Amsterdam - no idea when they'll get back here :-/
Julien has been whinging you guys sail too much at Wello/Manly; he wants to go somewhere with more swell ... haha.
