high tide is 10.30

that hould fit in well with a NW'er. but yes at low tide there is no water. i haven't sailed there though.

jinxy has sung the praises of point halloran to me many times. in a NE the local crew sail there and reckon the swell is impressive in the channel at coochie.

How about Saturday morning at Kirra? High tide. BOM sounds more optomistic.

Saturday: NE/NW winds 20/25 knots, decreasing to 15/20 knots in the afternoon
and shifting SW/SE 10/15 knots in the south during the evening.

Gestie - I've sailed Pt Halloran there a few times but on high tide - is good on a N - NE. Haven't tried NW but should be ok, you'd end up off the tip of Coochie, could be worth a look.
