I have found windfinder but are there any other good apps for windsurfing on the Gold Coast?

Is there an app that lets you download actual windsurfing talent?

I'd like one of those.

You can get an anemometer app, which is probably the most useful thing you can have.
Anyone have an opinion on how accurate it is ??

kenho, do you mean the one where you hold your iphone in the wind and the noise it makes in the microphone is put into knots? if so it is terrible. Windguru is definitely the best i would say for forecasts

Yeah, that's the one. I had wondered you good it was. Sounds like it's not real great.
Still, an anemometer is a wonderful tool.

There's also a british windsurf magazine for way below the shelf price, but I found it was impossible to read at that size. On the i-Pad it would be great.
