Wind report for Wello Tuesday. Crap Crap and crap. One minute about 24 knots within 50 metres or 5 seconds take your pick down to about 12. Why did i bother driving up there today. Had a good sail there a few weeks ago but have to say today wasn't a highlight. Feeling disappointed, not the way i usually feel after a sail 
result. Started out dodgey with heaps of holes. I was just about to give up when at about 2pm in came back in again. A lot more consistant as well as stronger. Ended up having a great sail till 3.45 on the 6m...Hey Darren, you might have left a bit early mate.
probably the most fun winter windsurfing day i have had. EVER. was pretty warm too.
One of the downsides of working nights i suppose had to leave by about 2 so i could have a sleep before having to go back to work but it means that i can sail during the week when it's good at SW. So i suppose it's got it's pros and cons. Glad to hear you all had a good sail later in the day just wish it wasn't so up and down while i was there. I'm thinking i might give the Spit another go in the next Westerly see what happens main problem there is the sand in everything when rigging/de-rigging.
On the up side i have found everybody at Wello to be very friendly and welcoming
