Just got back from Manly and the wind is a consistent 13-18 knots from the ESE. Appears to be freshening as well. So much for the Coastwatch forecast.

Sweet. Is anyone going out? im very much itching for a sail as i have been sick as a dog all week and missed the killer days all you lucky bastards have been getting!!!!

Not sure where to go though - shearwater could be working with the outgoing tide this arvo?

Have been watching the Manly weather station all arvo and average was bout 10-11kts..... till sunset, when it immediately jumped. T Y P I C A L !

I just got back from Wello. It was 7 to 10 knots for ages then at about 3.30 it lifted a bit. It didn't get over 13 I'd say - just enough
