Dave's family still live at TCB. When we lived there in the early 90's we would windsurf just out the front of the esplanade - this was high tide only. 2 hours or so either side of the high tide would work. Low tide we would do speed runs down schnapper creek in a SE but it might be too busy with boats to do that now. There were never many other windsurfers there apart from us.
