Really just a question for the guys that sail near the train. You are probably aware of the new fixed speed camera near the camping ground entrance. I watched them install the camera and have been aware of it ever since, and conciously stay under the limit there, but somehow it's managed to pick me up doing 80 (60k zone) and I'm wondering if anyone else has received a letter and felt they were doing well under the alleged speed?

I'm hoping it turns out to be faulty and a mistake

welcome to the club!

I got pinged at 72 but it must have been switched on before they put up the warning signs.

I have also been past there many more times BEFORE I got my notice though. (like after dropping off a lost storm damaged kitesurfer - can I charge for that?)

I hear they got 500 others in the first week.

Good posting HC

They may freestyle on the water
But they slalom on the tarmac

Mate seen it flashing away loads of time when the traffic lights are green people run for it.........ping to late got ya. Once you see them trees swaying in the wind all thoughts of slow driving seem to disapear

Yes, as soon as it gets over 20 knots traffic slows down by about 20%.

I see in a public relations bid they are putting one on Mount Panorama next year.
