Folks who are at the Lake tommorow, there is a Dash across the Lake and back for beer.
1st Prize - Carton of Corona
2nd Prize - Six Pack of the same
3rd Prize - One beer
Time - Approx 3pm (Be around for the hooter to sound)
Start - Boreen Point NE corner in knee deep water.
The Turnaround - When you touch some dry land on the other side of the Lake.
Finish - Beer will be placed on the Beach.
The method of the madness has gone high tech! you need to collect one of these from Teewah beach side and get it back to Boreen point!

Great idea with the flags was wondering how you would tell who touched land on the other side! Of course if we are all still wearing a GPS we will be able to see from the tracks who got to the other side

Where do you put the flag once you get it?
I was presuming the code of honour would prevail when it comes to corona.
The flags are aussie as. Might need to let a flare off to let's the punted know where the aim for. Even more fun....

Sounds like fun - couldn't see what the prize is for last though - I should be a good shot at that lol. We will be watching anyway good luck to everyone. Certainly plenty of wind we can vouch for that.

Photo finish for 1st place between Brad and Bryn! As you can see Brad's foot just touched the ground first (even though he was the first one to hit the beach even after a handicap start!), Bryn showed off his sprinting skills to almost claim the carton of Corona. Awesome effort by the guys in really strong wind.
