Wind SUP, Surf, Kiteboard, Paddleboard, Windsurf, 4x4 and camping.
We are heading to Double Island Point for a weekend away and as always your welcome to come along and join us. Sleep on the beach, eat on the beach, drive on the beach. BYO everything. There are no toilets or running water. Its the wilderness. BYO food, WATER, beer (cans only) and anything else you need. You will need a 4X4 with a recovery point.
Each vehicle will need a driving permit and a camping permit. There are no shops, few toilets, sleeping in the dunes, its real camping. Drive to Noosa, take the barge across the river then get on the beach and head north to the Teewah camping area. We will be camping at the northern end of the camping zone (by the rubbish bins).
We will be leaving Surf FX at 9am on friday the 25th and coming home sunday the 27th No 4x4? then post up on the seabreeze thread or on our facebook page as lots of people have spare seats or you can rent one with a few people and share the costs. Like the last trips, we will be camping at the most northern end of the Teewah Don't forget you need permits to drive on the beach and to camp.

Might not be so extensive as my maui report firiebob owing to me not being there
but I will try to equip the young guns with the necessary equipment for a good story!
Wife is due on the 29th I will try for a leave ticket ![]()
Good luck with that one, I was barely aloud to look at the water when ours was due.
OK people to get up the beach we are going to have to leave earlier on Friday morning, otherwise we will be arriving at Noosa on the High tide. High tide is noon.
We are leaving from the shop at 6am, be at the shop at 5:45
If you have to leave later than I suggest driving to Rainbow beach and taking the Freshwater Creek road to get to the beach. Then it only 5 min to the northern end of the camping area.
