So, looking at the forecast, it's gonna blow a beauty this weekend.
I'm thinking about heading north to get stronger wind. I don't like the inside of teh Stradbroke/Bribie island, with flat dirty water and mud, so I was gonna try and get north of that.
Apart from the passage at Caloundra, I've never really sailed at the Sunny Coast.
Any tips on good places to go wave-sailing, or any places people are planning on going this weekend ??

i was thinking of sailing of the end of neil st in caloundra, you can either sail the beach break, of if the swell is big you can go and sail over the reef.

you can also sail upwind and sail at moffats.

but too early to call, we shall see.

That sounds good.
Which day ? Or both days ? I was thinking of staying over somewhere on Saturday night.

And purely in the spirit of inquiry, why don't people call each other around here ?
My mobile has been cut off by Telstra today as revenge for prompt payment of bills and completion of contract, so I'm not sure when I'll be back on, but if I have anyone's number, I'll call to organise stuff.
Caloundra sounds good, it's a couple of hours, but that's nothing.
