Couple of sail track images of last couple of days, sailed into the dark on Sat night with Bryn, who took over for a Sunrise session Sunday, (7.00am!) , I took over for the mid morning session till 12.00.
We were the only 2 out for the weekend here, happy to share the secret!
Apart from the Lake C, if you want Flat, fast, safe blasting in strong SE winds, there is no better spot... leaves Golden Beach for dead, especially for beginners, less sand bar and tide issues, just doesnt have nice onshore facilities.
The tides were big all weekend which extended the sailability time a lot...the image with the more Red lines(consistent at just under 30knt) is on Sunday with an outgoing tide, found that much quicker than the incoming tide.
Sounds like a good beginner spot

Not to mention parking and rigging 5 meters from the launch, sandy bottom for bare feet and gybing (as seen in jonsey pictures) in a couple feet of water to practice your stacks.
Red port becon on the other side provides for good turning around a marker pracitce.
Hardly any boats coming through, none when we were out, just a couple of fisherman lines that Jonesy was obessed with slicing.
Great to have a spot that holds a big southerly.

Boat ramp park at end of 'Noojar Rd' Twinwaters/Mudjimba.
Stay away from the ramp for obviouse reasons, its not a busy boat spot, just a few jet skis and tinnies.
There are a couple of big marker ramp rocks under the water there also. SE winds are best follow the lines on the maps above!
If you head over to the big sandy bit in the pic at med-high tide you will get knee deep to waist deep water, great practice spot, (its dry on low tide!) it gets deep quicly off the ramp.
The tide only really gets strong once it gets too low to sail anyway, so no issues there, it pretty hassle free spot, winds a bit on/off but you get that anywhere you find protected waters.
Just keep your fin size below 40cm would be my tip, the smaller the fin the longer you can sail there, or use a weed fin.
Think I cleared all the fishing line away for you!.... makes an awesome sound when you here their real go zing at 30knts! And my scream when I see their tackle just misisng my tackle!....
seriously who fishes in 20+ knts of wind, or who lets out a mile of line out downwind of their boat...$%#!@!!@!#$!
