I have a Starboard S Type 104 litre that is in good condition for sale. Not a full on Slalom board but still very fast and easier to gybe.. Just a thought
As vando says if you only get one board then 100ltrs will sail you in all conditions, depending on skill level and what you want to do you would definitely be able to go smaller, specially if wave or speed sailing. what do you prefer wave/slalam/speed????
Well ive been using my dads 110ltr slalom board, but he also want to ride it, yesterday the slalom was tailwalking and railing on me (44 cm fin) then i hoped on his 92ltr freestyle wave and felt comfortable as? and btw this is down at gc because im just getting the hang of waterstarts
Say 60kg with all your gear on. Then 85-90L max and try to find something wide Enough 65cm wide which you can run up to 7m on. You should be hooting in 12 knots while the bigger boys are using 8.5m on 120L
