Hi,

I arrived in Brisbane 2 months ago, and i'm looking for used equipment around Brisbane.
I'm planning on going from Brisbane to Perth in 6 month, and i need to
equip myself with 1 set of equipment that will permit me to sail most of the
time.

I was looking at buying a board around 90/100ltr and a 5.5 / 5.7 sail.

But I don't really know the city, and which shop has the most used gear in
stock.(or if I need to move to another place to find better stuff)

Not sure about Bris, but Surf FX at Southport is not a huge drive away, and has a good stock of used stuff. It's always a pleasure to drive to the Goldie too.
Call ahead to see if they have what you want.

There's Board Crazy in Wolloongabba. Simon lists his used stuff on his web site.
Good Time at Woolloongabba has a bit.
Surf FX at Ferry Rd Southport has some stuff.
Surf Connect at Sandgate just opened. I doubt that Paddi has any second hand stuff but its worth giving him a ring. You beat me Padi.
Caloundra City Sailboards recently closed but Al still has a pile of second hand stuff in storage. Its listed on his web site.
Sunshine Coast Sailboards at Caloundra. Dieter has some second hand stuff. His is listed on his web site.
Caloundra Wind and Surf must have some. Give Pete a ring.

If you trawl through the Buy and Sell here on Seabreeze you will find a lot of the stuff from the shops listed as well as a lot of private stuff.

I think you'll find that the gear that is suitable for here will be too big for Perth. You wont get a lot of use for a 5.5 or 5.7 although I use my 5.8 a lot. I'm 70kg + or -.
We don't expect much except westerlies until October but you never know your luck.
Westerlies are gusty, up and down, on and off. They are a test of ranginess.
