On the water 8am now leave it to the afternoon crew, was great but looks even better now as the tide has dropped...................early one tomorrow on the king tide
Was a bit hit and miss strangely enough, powered up with 6.2 then nothing, then powered, had a few good runs so still happy![]()
Had a go at Currumbin today; mainly swimming getting washed in twice. Never even made it all the way out the back and tomorrow is likely to be bigger. Wind was kind of fluky inside but seemed good out the back. Lots of water moving around.
Shearwater was ok , bit gusty but mainly sailable, there was nothing at the train and KFC was deserted for sailboarders that is.
5.4 @ Sovereign Islands was super nice. That whole area gets flaaat as the tide drops. Was gusty in the channel but totally consistent over the sand bank. Didn't stop planing for an hour or so.
Merry Christmas, don't mention next week.
It is good!! nice high tide not too choppy easy sailing on the 5.5. Bit gusty.. few holes earlier, had an hour before brekky, then maybe another after! MERRY XMAS
